Here is a collection displaying my modest musical talents.
Part of my obsession with baseball is that I write songs about
it. I'm not claiming that they're good songs, only that
they rhyme and can be sung to the tunes listed.
If, for some reason, you want to use one of these for something,
let me know. I'm not going to charge you for it or anything, I
just want the ego boo.
I'm adding poetry here, too. Mostly because of
A Pitcher Worth a Thousand Words
These are
triolets
because I rediscovered the form recently and it sticks in my mind.
It looks easy, but it's not particularly any easier or harder than
any other form. I like that it's short because, despite the way I
seem to ramble on this site, I normally tend toward being concise.
There are several songs about NY Mets players (marked
with *). I've not
turned traitor or anything, but I've been spending some time recently
in a Mets forum where I participate in an annual parody contest.
